7th Grade
Overview
In Seventh Grade, experience a warm, friendly classroom where students grow in spiritual, academic and social integrity. Throughout the year students experience a variety of activities designed to help them grow. Highlights of the year include electives, science fair, and field trips. In History students learn about God's hand in early American history. In Pre-Algebra students have the opportunity to study topics including graphing, number theory and geometry. In Science students will learn about God's world by studying topics such as cell function, genetics, and body systems. In Language Arts students will be fine tuning their language skills by enjoying quality literature from a Christian Perspective.

Language Arts
Writing
Students will practice writing multi-paragraphed expository, persuasive, and narrative essays complete with thesis statements and effective introductory/concluding paragraphs. In addition, students will broaden their skills by using more sensory vocabulary in their essays and creative writing and by learning how to sentence combine. Students also complete a research paper.

Spanish I (Firtst semester high school - Holt McDougal)
Spanish I is designed to train students to understand basic speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. This curriculum will provide a balance of vocabulary, basic grammar concepts and culture of Spanish-speaking people and countries.
